Yes, it was ugly. Against the Stockton Thunder the Bakersfield Condors looked drab in a 6-1 defeat. Honestly, it was terrible. Last season the Condors owned Stockton, who I made fun of as "the bumblebees". Whether bees or Thunder, they skated fast, had some sting, and easily zapped the Condor goalie...

Do I know what happened? No. But Mike Seay gained the upper hand in the battle of trash talk after he rubbed in that the Fresno Falcons defeated the Las Vegas Wranglers.

On Saturday night the Condors clearly had too many giveaways for the night, one of them being the game itself. They lost 3-2 in a contest that seemed in the Condors grasp. The Idaho Steeheads swam upstream and took a win from the Condors. Ouch.
