Hell, Spiderman is violent. And talk about spending too much time covering senseless violence. They're the media for crying out loud. The media thrives off violence in society. Another killing: higher ratings; a catastrophe: higher ratings; famous person dies in a car wreck: lets try to buy the pics off the paparazzi and show them on 23 news for higher ratings...

Hell, the governor was in less violent movies than what the media covers on a daily basis...

Biggest sport of the winter Olympics: hockey... the premiere event and the most violent whether there are fisticuffs or not.

There's a big difference between violence on the streets where kids carry guns, and a fight during a Condor game that might promote rough and tumble hockey, but does not promote gunslinging, gang fighting, killings and war. As if such gangbangers are attending hockey games getting their thrills to go out and cap someone. Try drug and territory street wars, 23. Those gun-toting kids are too busy shooting each other to attend a hockey game! I wonder how many on the 23 staff own Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Give that up before you give up a good hockey game.
Now that I've said my peace, I just put out a call for Growing Up Fighting: Vol. 2... oh yes, it's all about hockey and fighting. More punk! More local music! More songs about hard hits and fights. I'm not ignoring the side of hockey that scares newscasters. I'm a realist. People cheer during a good hockey fight. It's the spirit of hockey that includes such roughness.
Get me on the air, I'll tell those fake hairdo talking heads on the news what I think about them picking on the Condors...
