A Blogger's Day With the Stanley Cup: Prelude - By N.L. Bobblehead

Oh yes, today is the day I get lucky and hang out with The Stanley Cup. What do I wear? Do I dress up? Do I get all freaky and wear a tux with white gloves? Will I even get within thirty feet of the holy grail of hockeydom? Or will I just be trailing in in a long line of strange hockey pilgrims?

Yes, tonight the CUP is in the house and Bakersfield folks can get their picture taken with it. I'm going to hang out a little earlier than that with with Patchboy. He kindly invited me along to take some photos of the media storm following the Stanley Cup while in Bakersfield. We're going to take a ride in his green monster car with cameras, high energy, and an empty box of Boo Berry cereal in tow...

Patchboy in the pressbox. No Boo Berry cereal in sight.

This should make for one of the most amazing blog days ever.

I think I'll wear jeans and a Condors hockey T-shirt and let Patchboy be the one who dresses up for the occasion.

And then tonight it's the Chiefs.

And you thought the Teddy Bear Toss sold out night was intense...
